The Maryland Literary Review is seeking submissions for our Winter 2009 issue.  We are interested in quality literary fiction, poetry, essays, and critical reviews of any length up to 15,000 words. 

• Send your submission to the submissions editor at the Maryland Literary Review through our Contacts page with Submission and the title of your work in the subject line using the text window provided.

• Submissions must be in one of the following formats: .doc, .rtf, .txt, or .wpd.  Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but they must be original unpublished fiction and we do not consider previously published material or work currently in press elsewhere. 

• Submissions may be sent to us at any time throughout the year.

• We endeavor to respond in thirty days to all submissions.

• All submissions should be double spaced and include the author’s name, address, telephone number, email address and overall word count.

• Each contributor is invited to include a brief biographical note along with their submissions which will be published along with their writing.

Copyright automatically reverts to the author upon publication.
